AI-Ready Data
AI-ready data is data clean and owned enough to safely power models, agents, and automation. In practice it meets five properties: owned, unified, accurate, consented, and governed. First-party data is the natural starting point because it clears most of those by definition.
Missing any one property weakens AI output: rented data has limits, fragmented data confuses, inaccurate data misleads, unconsented data exposes you, and ungoverned data cannot be trusted.
Getting data AI-ready is mostly foundation work, unifying and governing what you already collect, before pointing a model at it. AI amplifies the knowledge in your data rather than creating it.
