Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)

Customer lifetime value (LTV) is the total revenue or profit a business expects from a customer over the entire relationship. It guides how much you can afford to spend on acquisition and retention and is sharpened by unified first-party transactional data.

LTV reframes customers as long-term relationships rather than single transactions, informing budget, segmentation, and retention priorities.

Accurate LTV depends on complete transactional and behavioral history per customer, which is exactly what a resolved first-party data foundation provides, and it improves with predictive modeling.
