Data Clean Room
A data clean room is a secure, privacy-protected environment where two or more parties can match and analyze combined data without exposing the underlying records to each other. It enables collaboration on audience and measurement data while keeping raw PII private.
Clean rooms let, for example, a brand and a publisher find overlapping audiences using hashed identifiers, returning aggregate results rather than individual-level data.
They have become important as third-party cookies decline and privacy expectations rise, offering a controlled way to combine first-party data across partners with consent and governance.
